Keiko and Noah got back from San Fran on Wednesday night. I missed them sssoooo much. The first few nights were nice and quiet and peaceful but the weekend was very lonely. The house is so cold without them , no life at all.
Thank　you to Naoko who made me a lovely lasagne on Sat night - really enjoyed it!!!!!　and Tonx as always.
Everything back to normal now - happy , happy.
The 30th Anniversary of Bli is on April 3rd at Ryuu Guu Hotel on Tenmachou - really looking forward to it. Tickets are available now at Bli for 3500 yen. all you can eat/drink and special guests including a pro magician and pro soprano singer - Hitomi san....many thanks. Let's have a great night - all are welcome.
Finally - Man Utd beat Aston Villa in the league cup last Sunday 2 - 1. The Champions go marching on!!!!!!

So...New years resolutions.... got any? broken um' already?

Mine is simple - i want to laugh a lot , and i just want to enjoy myself as much as poss be it with family , work or friends　and not be too serious all the time . Let's have a good year eehh!!

Really looking forward to the school trip to England in June but before that i will spend a few days in China　－Shanghai with the family.   

This Sat is a chance to practise your English with abit of sake for comfort. Dutch courage as they say. If you are a text book English learner with a craving to communicate better but without the confidence to do so it is the perfect chance with all levels of students coming together to chat over a nice glass of red wine. Doors open at 6 , conversation class starts at 7.
Last Fri I put in a shocking san-shin performance at Aoi so i'm thinking about doing a private show to rectify my mistakes and confidence.......if you're lucky(unlucky?) i may sing too!!!!!!

How were the summer holidays for you???

For me - well , disappointing although i did enjoy doing as little as possible for almost a week.

The family had planned to take a camping trip on Mon , Tues and Wed of last week but on Mon it was heavy rain so we delayed until the following day but.........the Earthquake hit so we decided to cancel for saftey reasons.

Hope everyone is fine and avoided any falling books , cups , plates , TV's etc.

In the UK Earthquakes are extremely rare so it was a new experience for me - not a nice one and i hope the BIG ONE wont come for at least another few decades - centuries - milleniums ........

So the party is tomorrow at 3pm. All the drinks and snacks are here , the pro-tarat card reader booked , the exhibit info on blood types - palm reading - star signs - colours printed and blown up. The music arranged with the lovely Rosemary donating her vocals as well as (possibly) my dodgy guitar playing. So what else is there to sort out?

oh no - It's a summer yukata party and i don't have one. That's ok for guests - hey , we even have some spare for the ladies but a mens yukata? I'm sure i had one afew years ago but i have no idea where it's at!! I gotta get home and start rumaging around for it.

Will i be able to find it in time? you'll have to come and see

I've been remarkably unlucky with firework shows this year.

Nihondiara show went ahead but it was cloudy and foggy and difficult to view - just like the eclipse!

Abekawa show was postponed due to rain

and Shimizu Minato show　, well , i hope it goes down well as my friend is dancing in it but i won't be able to see it because Noah is still sick

Maybe i'll go to Yaizu show as afew people i know are attending but unfortunately Fukuroi Show has been cancelled this year due to lack of financial backing - sponsors.

Guess i'll just go to the 100 yen shop and have myself a private show!!!!!!  

my poor little boy is sick again. In Jan he was found to have kawasaki disease. Although not serious he needs hospital treatment whenever he gets abit of a high temperature. Needless to say - in this seasons climate he has had a fever many times. He should be better soon but it is a constant worry for K and I.

Thursday night - 7.45 - advanced English class , the students and I were talking about positive thinking and how having a positive and nice attitude and having positive and nice thoughts leads to nice things happening to you.

This lead me to recall an interesting quote from an article i read recently about people who had fallen from grace and how to get over negativeness. the quote goes like this...."you are not what you think you are , what you think you are" - I hope you can get it - i think it's great

Watched Benjamin Button on DVD Monday night. Most probably already know the story about a baby born old and growing younger by the day



I enjoyed the film - although it was pretty slow moving .

I feel a little like that guy - Life ending　、ticking down one minute at a time so have to make the most of it while it's here. Time is sure flying by.

Last Mon was a national hol but my son 'Noah' was working , working , working on a photo shoot. He's only 3 years old!!!!!!!!!!!I felt really sorry for him , all he wanted to do was play. The photographer and agent were lovely though.

So , if you have or know of any cute kidswe can introduce you.

The day before - the Sun - it was Masato and Sachiyo's wedding. Masato formerly of Monday night class was very very very serious　but the new Mrs was stunning　I had a great time - french menu and lots of wine. Thanks for coming with me Kaoru.

After having a relatively quiet weekend last week , this weekend is busy , busy , busy.

On Sat my son has his summer festival at Hoikuen and will carry omikoshi - WASHOII , WASHOII！！！

Then on Sun i will attend a friends wedding with the lovely kaoru - from Mon evening class.
I think Mon is a national hol so i may need it to recover.

Can't wait untill the party on Aug 8th here at BLi so i can get my Tarat read and find out about my future........
